7/11/14 Champs-Elysees & Eiffel Tower
This time when we visited the Arc de Triomphe, Judy and I did not get included in the honor guard (see the trip from 2009). After visiting the Arc, we did visit the posh shopping area the Elysian Fields, the Champs-Elysees. Later we went up the Eiffel Tower and took the stairs down. On the way down, we noticed a brick tower in the trees nearby. It turns out that it was used during the construction of the Tower.
